1>I want a real deep tub.
What do you have?
If you go into your bathroom and measure, you will find that the base
of the overflow between 8 and nine inches. The depth to the bottom of a roll top
or slipper tub without faucet holes above the overflow is 13.5 inches,
which does not sound very deep but is. If you get a 67" roll top or dual,
you will think you are in a big hot tub. The 72" Double Slipper is
even bigger. If they made deeper claw foot tubs, your shoulders, which are
usually bigger than your bottom, make for a tight fit. If deeper is what
you want, we suggest you go to an acrylic whirlpool style tub, which can be
wider, as our claw foot tubs don't get bigger than that.
A faucet, drain and a
pair of supply lines. The faucet can be part of a
shower surround enclosure.
3> Will your faucets fit my old tub?
4>What is the difference between a deck mount faucet tub and
one with no holes?
A
tub with no faucet holes requires either sturdy free standing supplies or
a wall mounted faucet. |

A deck mount faucet uses straight supply lines out of the floor. You may
also bring the supply lines out of the wall |
5> Where are your tubs manufactured, are they new and are they
cast iron?
- Our tubs are forged in Portugal and finished in the USA.
- They are brand new cast iron tubs. Just like they were 100 years ago!
- The interior is coated with a heavy porcelain finish.
- The exterior is painted white with an acrylic finish. It is paintable.
- If you would like to paint it a different color,
below is our paint information.
- Sorry, as was consistent with the period, these tubs only come in
white.
